Explore one of the most beautiful, quintessentially English market towns in the stunning surroundings of the Cotswolds and a walking tour of the historic city of Oxford led by your expert guide. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time ready for boarding. Visit the 16th-century birthplace of William Shakespeare, where the famous poet, playwright and actor spent his formative years, plus enjoy a panoramic tour of this medieval market town situated along the banks of the River Avon. A two-course lunch is also included at 'Hall's Croft', the wonderfully furnished Jacobean former home of Shakespeare's daughter, Susanna Hall. Guests are welcome to wander into the tranquil walled garden where Susanna's husband, the physician John Hall, would have grown his fragrant medicinal herbs for use in remedies. On this tour, we will be visiting Bourton-on-the-Water; a quintessential English village full of charm and known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' because of the number of beautiful low bridges in the town that crosses the River Windrush.
We support families who have lost the littlest of souls far too soon. Donated wedding dresses are transformed into beautiful infant burial gowns, also called Angel Gowns. These gowns along with thoughtfully filled memory boxes are offered to hospitals, birthing centers, funeral homes and directly to grieving families completely free of charge. We have a dedicated board of directors and an amazing network of volunteers from all parts of the US who set aside some of their time in the hopes of providing just a little comfort to a family going through the unthinkable tragedy of losing a baby. With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in a loss, there's no shortage of grieving families who could use some compassion. Our volunteers are constantly thinking of programs to offer these families along with creative ways to raise money to help make this non-profit sustainable. In the near future, we would like to be able to help families financially with burial expenses or covering bills from missing work. Please take some time to look through our website or Facebook page to see how you might be able to volunteer or support our mission of helping families. Please contact us with any questions or feedback you may have. Donate your beautiful wedding dress to help grieving families all across the United States.
